11:00 AM Seven Days in Italy. La Bella Italia.

From the snow covered Alps in the north to the dreamy lagoon city of Venice and its palaces and its world famous “Carnevale”. From the romantic hill landscape of Toscana where the aromas once inspired Leonardo Da Vinci to Rome, the city that during antiquity was the center of the Roman Empire and then to Sicily in the South, an island of gods and natural forces. A journey through time in one of the most beautiful countries in the World.

12:00 PM Francesco’s Italy: Italy Top To Toe!

Francesco da Mosto, author and architect, takes us on a sweeping tour of the art, history and beauty of Italy. Francesco leaves Venice, his birthplace and home and heads to the romantic North in his Alfa Romeo Spider. We travel to the beautiful cities of Padova, Vicenza, Ferrara, Bologna, Mantova, Milano, Portofino and then visit Le Marche, Urbino, Florence, Lucca, Siena, and Assisi. Arriving in the heart of Italy we visit Rome, Tivoli and on to Naples. Finally we go to the South and visit Puglia, Basilicata, Reggio Calabria and Sicily in all of its splendor and it is here that Francesco’s journey becomes personal—his family lived here for over 500 years.

12:00 PM Introduction to Italian Wine: a Premium Italian Wine Tasting/Seminar –

Learn more about Italian Wine by attending this guided tasting, featuring five of Italy’s most interesting wines, including Chianti Classico and the unique Nebbiolo, the Grape of both Barolo and Barbaresco. Join us, as we compare and contrast these amazing wines.

La Piccola Cucina – Festival Edition: La Piccola Cucina is a hands-on cultural culinary experience for children, aged 3-12 years old. Children will wear chef aprons and toques and learn basic Italian language, metric system and culture while preparing authentic Italian cuisine. The little chefs will learn how to make Italian Breadsticks!

Bingo Italian style, “Tombola”! Learn to play this traditional Italian game (similar to American Bingo) and win prizes (5 winners in each session). Fun for the entire family as you race to fill your cards while immersing yourself in a bit of Italian culture and language! Ambo! Terno! Quaderno! Quinto! Tombola! Limited seating. 4:00 PM Spaghetti Western Double Feature! “A Fistful of Pasta”. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo. Directed by Sergio Leone. Soundtrack by Ennio Morricone. Starring Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, Eli Wallach, Aldo Giuffre, and Mario Brega. C’era una volta il West. Directed by Sergio Leone. Soundtrack by Ennio Morricone. Starring Claudia Cardinale, Henry Fonda, Charles Bronson, Jason Robards, Gabriele Ferzetti, and Paolo Stoppa. It is the story of a young woman who moves from New Orleans to frontier Utah, on the very edge of the American West and a mysterious stranger with a harmonica who joins forces with a notorious desperado to protect the beautiful widow from a ruthless assassin working for the railroad.
