11:30 AM The Flavors of Italy: Firenze and Chianti.

Join us as we experience the colorful diversity of Italy’s landscape, vegetation, people, climate and cuisine. We will be visiting Firenze, the city that gave birth to the Renaissance, and journey to the Chianti area. We will sample Prosciutto, Ribollita alla toscana and Cacciucco alla viareggina.

La Piccola Cucina – Festival Edition: La Piccola Cucina is a hands-on cultural culinary experience for children, aged 3-12 years old. Children will wear chef aprons and toques and learn basic Italian language, metric system and culture while preparing authentic Italian cuisine. 12:00 PM The Flavors of Italy: Siena.

Join us in a culinary and cultural visit to Siena. We will visit the Piazza del Campo where the Palio is held and we will sample traditional Sienese cuisine including Zuppa di pane, Crespelle alla fiorentina, Filetto di triglia in crema and Arista di maiale.

12:30 PM Footloose in Italy. The Neapolitan Riviera, Sorrento, The Amalfi Coast, and The Island of Capri

1.The Neapolitan Riviera and Ischia. Our walking tour of Naples includes the harbor and the seashore. Then we are off to the Isle of Ischia and finally to Vesuvius and Pompeii.
2. The Sorrentine Peninsula. We will be visiting Sorrento and its museums and sampling limoncello. Then we will take a long atmospheric walk via Massa Lubrense to the tip of the peninsula.
3. The Amalfi Coast. We will visit Positano and take a cooking lesson and then be off to Amalfi and Ravello with its beautiful gardens.
4. The Isle of Capri. We will take a sightseeing tour on foot of the Island visiting the Roman Villa Jovis and the amazing Arco Naturale. Finally we will take a crazy bus ride to Anacapri and finally end our tour at the Blue Grotto. All in all it will be some of the best sun, sea, scenery and history!!!

Lago di Garda: We will visit the historic ruins and castle at Sirmione; Desenzano; Salo; intriguing Il Vittoriale and end our visit in a hike from Monte Baldo with a superb view of Italy’s largest lake.
Lake Como: Considered the most romantic of lakes, we discover the city of Como and its silkmaking tradition. Then on to a spectacular cruise which includes Bellagio and finally a valley hike to Lake Lugano.
Lake Lugano: Dark and mysterious and mainly Swiss we visit the colorful city of Lugano, a Swiss chocolate factory and go across the lake to the Swiss Customs Museum.
Lake Maggiore: We visit Stresa and the fabulous Isola Bella and Locarno. Then we take a scenic ride on the Lago Maggiore express rail and boat trip to Lake Orta.

5:30 PM Let’s have face painting
5:30 PM From Rimini to Rome.

1.The Adriatic Coast. We start with a walking tour of the grand resort Rimini and discover its Ancient Roman past. Then we hop on a bus to San Marino and explore this tiny and fascinating country. We end with a nostalgic visit to the Rimini Lambretta Center and a ride on a scooter.
2. Touring Tuscany.After a grand tour of Florence and its attractions we go to Pisa and next is the walled town of Lucca followed by a walking trail on the Via Francigena to San Gimignano. In a vintage Fiat 500 we travel through the scenic Val d’Orcia before arriving at medieval Siena.
3.Footloose in Rome. We take two walking trails in the eternal city Ancient Rome starting at the Pantheon then the Forum, the Colosseum, the Palatine and more. We see Baroque Rome, all the best piazzas, fountains, and gardens and end up at the Vatican. We conclude the tour with a food tasting at the Campo de’Fiori.

8:00 PM Seven Days in Italy. La Bella Italia.

From the snow covered Alps in the north to the dreamy lagoon city of Venice and its palaces and its world famous “Carnevale”. From the romantic hill landscape of Toscana where the aromas once inspired Leonardo Da Vinci to Rome, the city that during antiquity was the center of the Roman Empire and then to Sicily in the South, an island of gods and natural forces. Join us for a journey through time in one of the most beautiful countries in the World.
