The Houston Italian Festival has entertainment for everyone including the children. Youngsters have a place to enjoy the festival with the fun and antics of the Marionette Carranza Puppets and learn some of the folk dancing steps by the members of the Tarantella Folk Dancers of Galveston in special children’s class. Another “adventure in Italian culture” will give the youngsters an opportunity to cook with Chef Tiziana Triolo at the Festival Edition of La Piccolo Cucina Thursday through Sunday. Come and join us at the Houston Italian Festival October 8-11, 2015. For more information, go to www.HoustonItalianFestival.com.
The Houston Italian Festival provides live entertainment to fit everyone’s enjoyment. Michael Barimo, the handsome Italian virtuoso performing Friday through Sunday, is turning on a new generation of great Neoplitian music with his own unique brand of fresh Eruo-pop/rock arrangements and classic 21st century electro Edge as well as hitting all the classics we know and love. On Friday night at 8pm join Disco Expressions as we celebrate the Disco Hits of the Seventies. And on Saturday night at 8pm join THE FUSE, Houston’s most contemporary 5-pieces powerhouse top 40 band, as you dance the night away. Throughout the festival, the Tarantella Folk Dancers of Galveston will entertain you with their folk dancing steps and lead you in the Italian conga line as they dance –with you—through the audience. Throughout the day, the music of everyone from the Chairman of the Board to Tony Bennett will be played by the crew of the DJ Italia. Come and join us at the Houston Italian Festival October 8-11, 2015. For more information, go to www.HoustonItalianFestival.com.
