MD Anderson Cancer Center Children’s Art Project (

For more than 35 years, the Children’s Art Project at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center has made life better for children with cancer. Through worldwide sales of young cancer patients’ original artwork featured on seasonal note cards and gift items, the project has returned more than $26 million to programs that benefit cancer patients and their families.

University of St. Thomas Scholarship Fund (

Brookwood Community (

The Brookwood Community is a God-centered educational, residential, and entrepreneurial community for adults with functional disabilities located in Brookshire, Texas, just west of Houston. Mission-spirited teachers work with the Brookwood citizens to provide a careful balance between independence and assistance. Brookwood demonstrates that with God’s help, all people have a contribution to make to society if given the opportunity.
